Diversity and Inclusion (Global) — New

This Diversity and Inclusion course explains the relatively recent development of comprehensive diversity and inclusion programs and the competitive advantages of an inclusive workplace. The course explains the importance of identifying and addressing our minds’ unconscious biases against people who are different from us. Finally, the course provides a summary of the best ways to foster a diverse and inclusive environment.

Learning objectives:

Workplace Diversity and Inclusion (US)

This diversity-awareness training course covers legal workplace protections that all employees need to be aware of. The 35-minute course also (1) emphasizes the importance of treating everyone with respect and dignity, and (2) demonstrates how embracing diversity can be a sound business strategy.

Global

Duration: 45 minutes

This course introduces learners to general principles, policies and best practices regarding anti-discrimination and anti-harassment, as well as the role of individuals in contributing to a positive work environment where all are treated with respect.

• Identify types of discrimination that can occur in the workplace
• Identify principal protected categories to which anti-discrimination laws and policies apply
• Identify types of workplace harassment
• Describe employee rights and duties with respect to anti-discrimination and anti-harassment policies

This course is required for all Connecticut employees and supervisors at organizations with three or more employees. It explains what supervisory and nonsupervisory employees in Connecticut should do to avoid or minimize incidents of discrimination and harassment in the workplace.

This course covers sexual harassment training requirements for both New York State and New York City, as well as examines the types of workplace conduct that are considered unlawful discrimination and harassment.

Preventing Sexual Misconduct Title IX (US)
