Interstate Discovery Chart
A Chart identifying the key statutes and rules that US states and territories have adopted to handle incoming discovery requests, typically directed towards nonparties, coming from outside the state's jurisdiction (for example, Florida's rules for honoring a request to issue a subpoena for service in Florida from a litigant in a civil suit in New York). This Chart identifies those states that have adopted the Uniform Interstate Depositions and Discovery Act (UIDDA), the Uniform Foreign Depositions Act (UFDA), or a nonuniform procedure for handling incoming discovery requests.
