If you're a current customer using version 1.x of West LiveNote or West Case Notebook and want to upgrade to the current version of Case Notebook, call 800-328-4880 to request a license code from Customer Support. Additionally, an installation specialist will contact you to assist you with the upgrade.
If you're a new customer, you'll receive your Case Notebook license code as part of the new order process.
- Download the installation instructions and view these system requirements: Case Notebook Application Suite Installation Guide.
- The SQL download option provides a free version of Microsoft SQL Server 2019 Express.
- Select Proceed with download.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the download and installation.
- Case Notebook version 5.8 requires SQL Server version 2016 or higher. Review this supplemental guide for process and planning to migrate from an older existing repository instance.
